I am a seismologist and professor of geophysics at Goethe University Frankfurt. My research covers the following areas:

• seismological studies of active margins in oceanic and continental environments

• volcano seismology

• environmental seismology (effects wind turbines; induced seismicity)

• seismological field studies and array deployments

• seismological waveform modeling in anisotropic media, signal processing, seismological software development, ML in seismology
